Connecting your RoundlyX account to your Coinbase account is quick and easy. First, we will outline how to create a new Coinbase account, and then we will outline how to connect your new account, or an existing account, to RoundlyX.

Creating a New Coinbase Account
Click this link or the “create account” button under “Connections” on your RoundlyX Dashboard to get started creating your new Coinbase account. You’ll be prompted to enter your name, email address, and location. Accept the terms and conditions, and then verify your email.
After verifying your email, you’ll be prompted to set up two-factor authentication. You can change this from SMS to Google Authenticator or Authy after setup, which we highly recommend. SMS two-factor authentication is the easiest to exploit via SIM swap. Be safe! Secure your accounts with Google Authenticator or Authy.
The next screen on Coinbase will prompt you to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) information. Once you finish this section, you’ll have access to your Coinbase Dashboard, but we’re not quite finished!
In order to claim your referral bonus and to make sure your roundups begin, you need to add a payment method in Coinbase. Make sure you use the same bank or credit card account you connected to RoundlyX! Roundups will not process if the correct account is not connected.
Click “Add Payment Method” on your Coinbase Dashboard and select your payment method of choice. You will be prompted to connect your account using Plaid, the same service RoundlyX uses to connect your bank account.
Once you’ve connected your Coinbase payment method, you’re ready to connect your Coinbase account to your RoundlyX account.
Connecting Your Coinbase Account to RoundlyX
Log into your RoundlyX Dashboard and click on “Connections.” Find the Coinbase exchange tile there, and click the “Connect” button.
A new window will open prompting you to sign in to your Coinbase account to authorize RoundlyX to make round-ups on your behalf. Use your Coinbase login credentials here. Make sure to complete the CAPTCHA, and enter any two-factor authentication codes.
You may also be prompted to verify the connection through your email. Check your inbox, and click the link Coinbase sent to verify the new device and connection.
You’re all done! Coinbase round-up thresholds are $45 to minimize fees. Once you have accumulated $45 worth of round-ups, your first purchase will be made!
If you’d like to round up into other digital assets, or if you’d like a lower round-up threshold, you can set up and connect an Uphold account and/or an Okcoin account.
